NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 601 (e), the article was not a hair dye and contained coal-tar colors, Butter Yellow (Colour Index No. 19) and Sudan IV (Colour Index No. 258), which have not been listed for use in cos- metics in accordance with the regulations and were other than colors from batches that had been certified. DISPOSITION : January 24, 1947. Pleas of guilty having been entered, fines of $500 and $250 were imposed against the corporation and Louis Klatzkie, respectively.
