NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 501 (c), the strength of the article, differed from, and its quality fell below, that which it purported and was rep-, resented to possess. It purported and was represented to contain 1,200 U. S. P- units of vitamin Bi (thiamine hydrochloride) per fluid ounce, but it contained a smaller amount. DISPOSITION : January 10, 1947. A plea of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendant, the court imposed a fine of $1,000.
