ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about October 3,1946, from the State of Pennsylvania into the State of New Jersey. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 501 (d) (2), a substance consisting essentially of an aqueous alcoholic solution containing phenobarbital, glycerin, saccharin, and cudbear, together with an aromatic material resembling orange , oil, had been substituted for "Elixir of Phenobarbital," a drug the name of ^ ance with the specifications of the Pharmacopoeia does hot contain tincture of cudbear and saccharin. DISPOSITION : November 26, 1947. A plea of guilty having been entered, the court imposed a fine of $100 and sentenced the defendant to 6 months in Jail, which sentence was suspended.
