ACCOMPANYING LABELING : A tear sheet entitled "Arthritics Seek Cure in Radio- active Mines" taken from the July 7, 1952, issue of Life magazine and a tear sheet entitled "Uranium Cure Group Moves" taken from the July 29, 1953, issue of the Tucson Daily Citizen. RESULTS OP INVESTIGATION : A patient either would sit or recline on the uranium padded bench while undergoing the "treatment" provided by the purported radioactivity of the ore. The loose pads were provided the patient for placing over afflicted portions of the body while he was being "treated" in the tunnel. LIBELED : 11-16-54, Dist. N. Mex.
