CHARGE: 502(a)-when shipped, the labeling of the article contained false and misleading representations that the article was adequate and effective for the self-treatment of other than occasional constipation; that continued use of the article would maintain good health by keeping the intestinal tract free of toxic accumulations; that use of the article was an adequate and effective treatment for all conditions of the small intestine and colon; that the article was of use for other than the temporary relief of occasional constipation; and that the article had other than simple laxative properties. DISPOSITION : On 3-30-60, pursuant to stipulation by the Government and by the claimant, Detergen Co., an order was entered directing the removal of the case to the Northern District of Oklahoma. Thereafter, interrogatories were served upon the claimant and subsequently answered. On 5-5-61, the claimant having consented to a decree, judgment of con- demnation was entered and the article was ordered released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law. On 1-15-62, the claimant having failed to post bond, an order for destruction of the article was entered.
