ADULTERATION OF CREAM. On June 26, 1912, the United States Attorney for the District of? Columbia, acting upon a report by the Health Officer of said Dis?? trict, made by the authorization of the Secretary of Agriculture,? filed in the Police Court of said District an information against? Laban B. Armstrong, doing business in the District of Columbia,? alleging that the said defendant on May 31, 1912, at the District? aforesaid, sold, in violation of the Food and Drugs Act, a quantity? of cream which was adulterated. Adulteration was alleged in the information for the reason that? a valuable constituent of the product, to wit, butter fat, had been? left out or abstracted in whole or in part.
