NOTICE OF JUDGMENT NO. 2372. (Given pursuant to section 4 of the Food and Drugs Act.) ADULTERATION OP CREAM. On December 18, 1912, the United States Attorney for the Dis- trict of Columbia, acting upon a report by the Health Officer of the said District, authorized by the Secretary of Agriculture, filed in the Police Court of the District aforesaid an information against Simon P. Knill, of Barnesville, Md., alleging the sale by said defend- ant, at the District aforesaid, on November 8, 1912, in violation of the Food and Drugs Act, of a quantity of cream which was adul- terated. The product bore no label. Adulteration of the product was alleged in the information for the reason that a valuable constituent thereof, to wit, butter fat, had been left out or abstracted in whole or in part.
