No. C-383.) On November 13, 1915, the United States attorney for the District of Minne?? sota, acting upon a report by the Secretary of Agriculture, filed in the District? Court of the United States for said district a libel for the seizure and con?? demnation of 1 sack, containing 100 pounds, more or less, of coriander seed,? remaining unsold in the original unbroken package at Faribault, Minn., alleg-.? ing that the article had been shipped on October 8, 1915, and transported from? the State of Missouri into the State of Minnesota, and charging adulteration in? violation of the Food and Drugs Act. The allegations in the libel were to the effect that the article was adulterated? in that it consisted, in whole or in part, of. a filthy, decomposed, or putrid animal? or vegetable substance. On April 24, 1916, no claimant having appeared for the property, judgment? of condemnation and forfeiture was entered, and it was ordered by the court? that the product should be destroyed by the United States marshal.
