District Court of the United States for said district a libel for the seizure and? condemnation of 50 cases, each containing 24 cans, of pork and beans, remain?? ing unsold in the original, unbroken packages at St. Louis, Mo., alleging that? the article had been shipped, on or about November 12, 1915, by the Gibson? Canning Co., Gibson City, 111., and transported from the State of Illinois into? the State of Missouri, and charging adulteration in violation of the Food and? Drugs Act. The cases were labeled: (Paster label) "Superior Brand Pork? and Beans with Tomato Sauce" (Design of butler and plate of pork and? .beans) "Contents 2 lbs. Louis Maull Cheese & Fish Co.
