Analysis of a sample of the article by the Bureau of Chemistry of this de?? partment showed that it consisted essentially of potassium iodid, bitter plant? extractives, cardamom, sugar, alcohol, and water. Misbranding of the article was alleged in substance in the libels for the reason? that the above-quoted statements appearing on the labels of the bottles and? cartons and in the accompanying circular, regarding the curative and thera?? peutic effect of the said article, were false and fraudulent for the reason that? the article did not contain any ingredient or combination of ingredients capable? of producing the effects claimed. On October 13 and December 2, 1921, respectively, no claimant having ap?? peared for the property, judgments of condemnation and forfeiture were en?? tered, and it was ordered by the court that the product be destroyed by the?
