merman, Washington, D. C, alleging shipment by said defendant, in viola??
tion of the Food and Drugs Act, on July 29, 1921, from the State of Maryland?
into the District of Columbia, of a quantity of milk which was adulterated.
Adulteration of the article was alleged in the information for the reason?
that a certain substance, to wit, water, had been mixed with the said article?
so as to reduce and lower and injuriously affect its quality.
On September 20, 1921, the defendant entered a 'plea of guilty to the infor??
mation, and the court imposed a fine of $25.
