No. B-6112.) lOn May 19, 1927, the United States attorney for the District of Massachu- setts, acting upon a report by the Secretary of Agriculture, filed in the District gnrt of the United States for said district a libel praying seizure and condem- " ion of 21 tubs of butter, remaining in the original unbroken packages at j|&ton, Mass., alleging that the article had been shipped by the Linden Coop- Itive Creamery Assn., Linden, Mich., and transported from the State of " "ligan into the State of Massachusetts, and charging adulteration and 3randing in violation of the food and drugs act as amended. |it was alleged in the libel that the article was adulterated, in that it was TjSient in butterfat. lisbranding was alleged for the reason that the article was food in package and the quantity of the contents was not plainly and conspicuously |pked on the outside of the package, in that some packages failed to bear a "tement of net weight, and on others the statement made was incorrect.
