On or about December 29, 1926, the United States attorney for the District q; New Jersey, acting upon a report by the Secretary of Agriculture, filed in ta$ District Court of the United States for said district a libel praying seizure ana condemnation of 49 pounds of marjoram, at Passaic, N. J., alleging that the; article had been shipped by Armour & Co., Chicago, Ill., on or about October 18,= 1926, and transported from the State of Illinois into the State of New Jersey^ and charging adulteration in violation of the food and drugs act. ^alleged in the libel that the article was adulterated, in that dirt and I, been mixed and packed therewith so as to reduce, lower, and injuri- Eect its quality and strength, and had been substituted wholly or in part ! said article. Jay 28, 1927, no claimant having appeared for the property, judgment of ination and forfeiture w. s enteied, and it was ordered by the court that s^jfluct be destroyed by the United States marshal.
