24. Adulteration of rice flour. TJ. S. v. 10 Sacks of Rice Flour. Default deeree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 341. Sample No. 413GD-D.) On August 1, 1939, the United States attorney for the District of Idaho filed a libel against 10 sacks of rice flour at Idaho Falls, Idaho, alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about November 18, 1938, by Phillips Milling Co. from Sacramento, Calif.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted wholly or in part of a filthy substance. It was labeled in part: "Phillips Golden State Rice Flour." On August 29, 1939, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
