1596. Adulteration of frozen shrimp. 17. S. v. 20 Bags of Frozen Shrimp. De¬ fault decree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 3824. Sample No. 56064-B.) On February 17, 1941, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a libel against 20 bags of frozen shrimp at New York, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped on or about August 18, 1940, from St. Augustine, Fla., by J. S. Ramos; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. On March 10, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
