1794. Adulteration of poultry. TJ. S. v. 1 Barrel of Dressed Poultry. Default decree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 3669. Sample No. 46568-E.) On January 15, 1941, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a libel against one barrel of poultry at New York, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped on or about December 28, 1940, from Worth- ington, Minn., by Boote's Hatcheries Packing Co.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it was in whole or in part the product of diseased animals. On February 5, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemna- tion and destruction was entered.
