Sample Nos. 84479-E, 56100-E, 56181-E to 56188-E, incl.) On December 19, 1940, and March 19, 1941, the United States attorneys for the Southern and the Northern Districts of New York filed libels against 8 boxes of poultry at New York, N. Y., and 10 boxes of poultry at Syracuse, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce by the Nevada Poultry Co. from Nevada, Iowa, on or about November 29, 1940, and from Story City, Iowa, on or about November 23, 1940; and charging that it was adulterated in that it was in whole or in part the product of diseased animals. The article was labeled in part: "Choice Brand Poultry Frying Chickens [or "Boasting Chickens" or "Fowl"] Wilson and Company Distributors * * * Chicago, Ill." On January 7 and May 22, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgments of condemnation and destruction were entered.
