On February 28, 1941, the United States attorney for the District of New Jersey filed a libel against 6 cases each containing 2 tins of onion powder at Jersey City, N. J., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate com- merce on or about January 24, 1941, by Sokol & Co. from New York, N. Y.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in . part of a filthy substance. The article was labeled in part: (Tin) "Cal Veg Pure Onion Powder Yellow net weight 25 Lbs." On April 18, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
