This product contained evidence of the presence of filth, ; On June 16, 1941, the United States atorney for the District of Maryland filed a libel against 3 barrels, containing a total of 285 pounds, of crab meat at Baltimore, Md., alleging shipment on or about June 13, 1941, by the Clark Sea Food Co. from Bayou La Batre, Ala.;, and charging that it was adulterated in that it had been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby it might have become contaminated with filth or whereby it might have been rendered injurious to health. On July 30, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
