2427. Adulteration of frozen whiting. U. S. v. 134 Boxes of Fish. Default decree of condemnation and destruction; (F. D. C. No. 5611. Sample No. 79114-E.) On September'2, 1941, the United States attorney for the Southern District of Ohio filed a libel against 134 boxes of fish at Cincinnati, Ohio, alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about August * 16, 1941, by the O'Donnell-Usen Fisheries from Boston, Mass.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. The article was labeled in part: (Box) "H & G Whiting Mariners Fish Co. Gloucester, Mass." . On October J, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemna- tion was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
