Nos. 4967, 5015„ 5017.: Sample Nos.:56695-E,-56698-E, 69817HB.).; : On or about June 20 and 28,11941, the United States attorneys for the District of Connecticut and the Northern District of New York filed libels against 10 1 pound boxes and 18 cases1 each containing' 24 boxes of chocolate candy at^Hart- ford,Conn., and 33 boxes of candy at Birighamton, N;i, alleging that the article had been shipped: in interstate commerce within the period from on or about May 6 to on or about June 5,s 1841, by Liberty Chocolate Co. from Boston Mass.; and charging that it was adulterated In that it' consisted";in whole or in? part of a filthy substance, and in that it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it might have become contaminated with filth. The article was labeled in part variously: "Home Mades Chocolates by Ellen Joyce Boston," "Alberta Chocolate Cordial Cherries," or "Barbara Taylor Hand Dipped Chocolates." On August 1 and 11, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgments of condem- nation were entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
