2634. Adulteration of egg noodles. V. S. v. 19 Cases of Egg Noodles. Default decree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 5678. Sample No. 53711-E.) On September 12, 1941, the United States attorney for the District of Arizona filed a libel against 19 cases of egg noodles at Nogales, Ariz., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about October 3, 1940, by the Quaker Oats Co. from St. Joseph, Mo.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance. The article was labeled in part: "Uncle Sam's Genuine Egg Noodles." On November 17, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemna- tion was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
