This product was found to be infested with parasites; On September 11, 1941, the United States attorney for the Western District of North Carolina filed a libel against 20 boxes of frozen red perch at Charlotte, N. C, alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about August 15, 1941, by Cape Ann Fisheries, Inc., from Gloucester, Mass.; and charg- ing that it was' adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance. The article was labeled in part: "10 Lbs.-Net Red Perch." On December 4, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed. CANNED SALMON
