3381. Adulteration of poultry. U. S. v. 13 Barrels of Poultry. Default decree İf condemnation and destruction. (P. D. C. No. 7057. Sample No. 69375-E.) On March 20,1942, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a libel against 13 barrels of poultry at New York, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped on or about March 10, 1942, by the Eagle Poultry Co. from Frankford, Del.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it con- sisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance, decomposed poultry, and was in whole or in part the product of diseased animals. The article was labeled in part: "Blanchard." On April 8,1942, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
