4175. Adulteration of blueberries. U. S. v. 2 Crates and 1 Crate of Blueberries. Default decree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 8326. Sam- ple No. 19694-F.) On July 29, 1942, the United States attorney for the District of Massachusetts filed a libel against 2 crates, each containing 24 quarts, and 1 crate, containing 21 quarts, of blueberries at Boston, Mass., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about July 24, 1942, by King Little from Laconia, N. H.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance. On September 1,1942, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
