4783. Adulteration of frozen eggs. IT. S. v. 932 Cartons of Frozen Eggs. Con¬ sent decree of condemnation. Product ordered released under bond for segregation and destruction of unfit portion. (F. On January 4,1943, the United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York filed a libel against 932 cartons, each containing 30 pounds, of frozen eggs at Brooklyn, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate com- merce on or about July 27, 1942, by the Tracy Produce Co., Inc., from Tracy, Minn,; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. On January 19, 1943, Nathan Erlich, Inc., a New York corporation, claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemnation was en- tered and the product was ordered released under bond conditioned that the portion unfit for human consumption be segregated and destroyed.
