VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), in that the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects, larvae, and insect fragments. DISPOSITION : August 3, 1944. Peter J. Guarino, doing business as the United Flour Co., New Orleans, La., claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond or upon the deposit of cash collateral, conditioned that it be disposed of as animal or poultry feed under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration. It was denatured by the addition of cottonseed meal.
