PRODUCT: 1,000 bags, each containing 100 pounds, of corn grits at St. Louis, Mo. VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance since it contained insects, larvae, pupae, and webbing. DISPOSITION : January 26, 1944. The Griesedieck Bros. Brewery Co., St. Louis, Mo., claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of con- demnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond, conditioned that the unfit portion be segregated and denatured under the super- vision of the Food and Drug Administration. ?See also No. 6390.
