ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about December 29-, 1943, and April 5, 1944, from Spokane, Wash., and The Dalles, Oreg. PRODUCT: 432 lOO-pound sacks and 365 lOO-pound sacks of flour at Spring- field, Ohio, in the possession of the Whiteway Bakeries. The products were stored, after shipment, under insanitary conditions. The bags were rodent-gnawed, and rodent pellets and urine stains were observed on the bags. Examination showed that the products contained weevils, larvae, and insect fragments. 650492—45 3 in whole or in part of filthy substances; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had. been held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become con(^ taminated with filth. DISPOSITION : December 1, 1944. Lloyd Burnett, claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libels, judgments of condemnation were entered and the products were ordered released under bond for conversion into stock feed by mixing with other ingredients, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
