VIOLATIONS CHARGED: Misbranding, Section 403 (a) and Section 403 (e) (2), the product was short weight since it contained less than 1 pound of butter, as labeled. DISPOSITION : December 8, 1944. The Spring Valley Butter Co., claimant, hav» ing admitted that the product was misbranded, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Admin- istration.
