ALLEGED SHIPMENT:   On or about November 17, 1944, by C. E. Zuercher and Co.,
Chicago, Ill. 
PRODUCT:   40 cases, each containing 6 cheeses, totaling 1,266 pounds, at Spring
Green, Wis. 
LABEL IN PART :   "Nauvoo Blue Cheese." 
VIOLATION CHARGED:   Adulteration, Section 402 (a)  (3), the product consisted
in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of mites and
insect fragments, and it was in part decomposed. 
DISPOSITION :   January 25,1945.   No claimant having appeared, the product was 
ordered destroyed.
