ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about April 21 and May 16, 1944, by the Jno. F. Ach- 
terberg Co., El Paso, Texas.
PRODUCT:   28 cartons, each containing 24   8-ounce boxes, of hominy at Phoenix,
Ariz.
LABEL IN PART: (Boxes) "Large Can-O-Hominy Will make One Quart Cooked 
Hominy   Packed by The Can-O-Vegetables Company   El Paso, Tex."
VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted 
in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of beetles, 
larvae, and insect fragments.
DISPOSITION:    January 12, 1945.   No claimant having appeared, judgment of 
. condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
