VIOLATION CHARGED: Misbranding, Section 403 (a), the statements, "Crude Protein, not less than 17.0 per cent * * * Crude Fibre, not more than 27.0 per cent," borne on tags attached to the sacks containing the article, were false and misleading since the article contained crude protein in amounts ranging from 12.80 percent to 13.21 percent and crude fiber in amounts rang- ing from 30.36 percent to 30.63 percent. DISPOSITION : February 12,1945. A plea of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendant, the court imposed a fine of $750.
