PRODUCT: 80 70-pound boxes of pitted dates at Minneapolis, Minn. VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a)(3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of larvae, insect excreta, and webbing. DISPOSITION : May 10,1945. The Bristol, Gustafson Brokerage Co., Minneapolis, Minn., having appeared as claimant, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond, conditioned that the good portion be separated from the bad, and that both portions be disposed of in compliance with the law, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Admin- istration.
