The product contained exces- sive spray residue. VIOLATION CHARGED : Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (1), the product contained an added poisonous or deleterious substance, lead, which may have rendered it injurious to health. DISPOSITION: June 11, 1945. No claimant having appeared, judgment of con- demnation was entered and the product was ordered delivered to a charitable institution, conditioned that the apples be washed and pared.
