LIBEL FILED : February 21,1945, District of New Jersey. ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about November 6,1944, by the Briganti Extract Co., Inc., from Brooklyn, N. Y. tar colors other than those from batches that had been certified in accordance with the regulations, the colors being a combination of aniline, "amino-phenol, and dihydroxy phenols, and DC Green No. 6, which are not certifiable for use in foods. Misbranding, Section 403 (i), the color was fabricated from two or more ingredients and its label failed to bear the common or usual name of each such ingredient. DISPOSITION: April 2, 1945. No claimant having appeared, judgment of con- demnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
