NATURE OW CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (2), the product contained an added poisonous and deleterious substance, monochloracetic acid, which was unsafe within the meaning of the law since it was not required in the produc- tion of the product and could have been avoided by good manufacturing practice. DISPOSITION : Between October 25, 1945, and February 28, 1946, no claimants having appeared, judgments of condemnation were entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
