Sample Nos. 24802-H, 24803-H.) LIBEL FILED: July 20,1945, Eastern District of Louisiana. ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about May 24, 1945, by The Loeb Dietetic Food Co., Inc., from New York, N. Y. PRODUCT: 110 3-ounce packages of noodles and 100 3-ounce packages of spa- ghetti at New Orleans, La. Examination showed that the products contained rodent hair fragments and insect fragments. LABEL IN PART: "Loeb's Dietetic Gluten Noodles [or "Spaghetti"]." NATURE OF CHARGE : Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted in whole or in part of filthy substances; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contam- inated with filth. DISPOSITION: September 10, 1945. No claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the products were ordered destroyed. MISCELLANEOUS CEREAL PRODUCTS
