INFORMATION FILED: July 13, 1945, Southern District of Ohio, against the Bea- trice Creamery Co., a corporation, trading under the firm name Blue Valley Creamery Co., at Columbus, Ohio. ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about June 5, 1944, from the State of Ohio into the State of Illinois. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (b) (1), a valuable constituent, milk fat, had been omitted in part from the article; and, Section 402 (b) (2), a product which contained less than 80 percent by weight of milk fat had been substituted for butter. DISPOSITION : On November 19, 1945, a plea of guilty having been entered, the court imposed a fine of $1,000. On April 22,1946, the. fine was reduced to $500.
