NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3) the articles consisted in whole or in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of (in the corn meal) beetles, larvae, insect fragments, rodent excreta fragments, and rodent hair fragments, and (in the flour) insect fragments and insect excreta; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : October 31, 19^6. Pleas of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendants, the court imposed a fine of $25 on each of 8 counts against both defendants, jointly, a total fine of $200.
