NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of decomposed turkeys; and, Section 402 (a) (5), it was in whole or in part the product of a diseased animal, i. e., turkeys that were diseased at the time of slaughter. DISPOSITION: July 29, 1946. Pleas of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendants, the court imposed a fine of $100 against each defendant.
