ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about September 15, 1945, by Goodlander.Flour Mills, from Fort Scott, Kans. PRODUCT: 140 10-pound bags of enriched flour at Springfield, Mo. This product contained less than 2 milligrams of thiamine (vitamin Bt) per pound. LABEL IN PART: "Enriched Flour Bleached * * * Sun Gold Flour." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (b) (1), a valuable constituent, - thiamine (vitamin Bi), had been in part omitted. Misbranding, Section 403 (g) (1), the product failed to conform to the definition and standard of identity for enriched flour, which requires that enriched flour shall contain in each pound not less than 2.0 milligrams of thiamine (vitamin Bi).
