ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about July 13, 1946, by B. L. Norton, from Pelham, Ga. PRODUCT: 16 10-pound bags and 17 lOO-pound bags of corn meal at Tallahassee, Ma. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent excreta fragments, rodent hairs, and insect fragments. DISPOSITION : January 2, 1947. The Tallahassee Grocery Co., Tallahassee, Fla., claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond, conditioned that it be denatured and used for stock feed, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
