ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about April 17,1946, from the State of North Dakota into the State of Minnesota. LABEL IN PART : "Salted Nut Roll," or "Long-Tom." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect excreta, insect fragments, and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become con- taminated with filth. DISPOSITION: October 4, 1946. Pleas of guilty having been entered on behalf of the defendants, the court imposed a fine of $500 against each defendant on count 1 and placed them both on probation for a period of 1 year on count 2.
