Moles, trading as the Heart of America Baking Co., Kansas City, Mo. ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about March 29, April 28, and May 14, 15, and 21, 1946, from the State of Missouri into the State of Kansas. LABEL IN PART: "Sweetheart Sandwich Cookies [or "Fancy Assorted Cookies"]." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the articles consisted in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of rodent hairs, rodent hair fragments, rodent excreta, insects, insect parts, insect fragments, larvae, and larvae fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contami- nated with filth. DISPOSITION : December 30, 1946. The defendant having entered a plea of nolo contendere, the court imposed a fine of $10 on each count, a total fine of $50, plus costs.
