ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about November 23, 1946, by the Tip Top Candy Co., from Bossier City, La. PRODUCT: 296 boxes, each containing 36 pieces, of candy at Danville, Ill. LABEL IN PART : "Barber Pole." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect frag- ments and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been pre- pared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION: March 25, 1947. No claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
