LABEL, IN PART: "Creamery Butter Distributed by Meadowlands Creameries, " Inc., Chicago, Illinois." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (b) (2), a product containing less than 80 percent by weight of milk fat had been substitute*d for butter. DISPOSITION: March 14, 1947. The Tri-State Butter Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemna- tion was entered and the product was ordered released under bond, condi- tioned that it be reworked in order to comply with the law, under the super- vision of the Food and Drug Administration.
