PRODUCT: 25 cartons and 15 cases, each containing 32 1-pound packages, of butter at Knoxville, Tenn. LABEL IN PART: "Armour Cloverbloom Butter One Pound Net Weight," or "1 Lb. Net Weight * * * Creamery Butter." NATURE OF CHARGE: Misbranding, Section403 (e) (2). (Theproduct was short- weight.) DISPOSITION : February 4,1947. Armour & Co. having entered an appearance in the case, and the court having found the product to be misbranded because of a discrepancy between the actual and the declared weight, judgment was entered ordering that the product be released under bond for reprocessing under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
