PRODUCT: 95 cases, each containing 20 1-pound packages, of macaroni products at Newburgh and New York, N. Y. LABEL IN PART: "La Peria Macaroni Products." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect frag- ments and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been pre- pared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : September 4 and 25,1947. Default decrees of condemnation. The product was ordered delivered to a Federal institution, for use as animal feed.
