NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted
. in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of larval insect cast

skin, insect fragments, insect larvae, larval heads, mites, rodent excreta :pellet
fragments, and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) ( 1), it had been
prepared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become
contaminated with filth.
DISPOSITION: January 19, 1948. A plea of guilty having been entered, the.court
imposed a fine_of $125 on each of 2.counts.
